Cost: $375 prior to November 30. $425 after November 30. The $50 late fee after November 30 is an NCVF required late fee.
NCVF Entry Fee Requirement: The NCVF requires all entry fees to be turned in no later December 14, 2012. This is close to winter break so put in your requests for payment in November when your accounting office is open.
Invoices: All teams will be provided an invoice. The invoice contains the address you can use to send in your payment.
Prize: $475 (half of the entry fee cost from 2012 nationals)
NCVF Ranking Tournament: The NCVF has selected the MLK Battle of the Bay as an NCVF Ranking Tournament.
California Seeding Event: Our tournament also has been selected as a California seeding event. Results will be used to help qualify and seed teams for the California State Championships.
Rules: The NCVF Governance Rules will be in full effect.
Refs: Certified refs will be used for all matches. Two refs will be provided for all gold playoff matches.
Tourney Director: An independent tournament director will be hired to run the event.
B Team Waitlist - There is no B team waitlist for the A team ranking tournament.
NCVF Refund Policy: The last day to withdraw is December 14, 2012. Teams may withdraw from the event if a request is made in writing. Refund requests received after this time period will not be granted except by the NCVF Women's Committee for acts of god, dangerous weather conditions, etc. SJSU is required to notify the NCVF Women's Committee of any school that withdraws after December 14, 2012. Such teams may be subject to sanctions. SJSU is required to provide a full refund within 30 days of the written withdrawal request.
NCVF Team Selection Policy: "A" teams are selected on a "first come, first serve" basis. Teams are only allowed to enter their first teams.
Hotels: There are a number of great hotels near campus. The "nice" hotels do not work with club teams to provide block booking since providing block rooms for Apple, Google, etc., and other large events are their priority.
